Director from December 2012 to Present.  Served as Board President December 2017 and 2012. 

San Miguel CSD representative to the Water Resource Advisory Council from 2014 to present.  Has served as Chair of the District's Ad Hoc Committee on Water Conservation Ordinance development.  Has served since 2015 as Vice-Chair of the Paso Robles Basin Advisory Committee.  Is currently serving as Vice-President on the San Luis Obispo County Chapter of the California Special District Association.

Director Kalvans is a long-time member of the San Miguel Lions Club.  He has been involved in the community as a member of the San Miguel Advisory Council since 2011.
